MATCH Services AG is the professional services company appointed by FIFA to provide ticketing, accommodation and event information technology services to FIFA for the FIFA Confederations Cup South Africa 2009, 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™, FIFA Confederations Cup Brazil 2013 and the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil™.
MATCH (based in Zurich, Switzerland) was formed for the purpose of providing services to FIFA for the aforementioned events through to 2014. MATCH is a wholly owned subsidiary of Byrom plc who are based in Manchester, United Kingdom.
MATCH formed a wholly owned South African subsidiary, MATCH Event Services (PTY) Ltd, to operate local activities in South Africa in connection with the 2010 FIFA World Cup™ as well as the new wholly owned subsidiary, MATCH Serviços de Eventos Ltda to operate local activities in Brazil for the 2014 FIFA World Cup™ (collectively all three entities are referred to as ‘MATCH’).
